December Newsletter |
It has been one month in the new location!
So far, sales have increased, foot traffic has increased,
class attendance has increased, and the excitement from the Priest River locals has been apparent!
I can't tell you how many people have stopped in just to
see the shop and express how excited they are that
the town now has a quilt shop! I just love it!
Once the classroom area is completed, we can open up the
space to different crafting groups to offer classes or just a
place to meet. If you know of someone who wants to
teach a project but needs a place to host it...just let me know.
I will come up with a reasonable fee to let fellow artists
be able to rent the classroom area.
Thank you for your patience and your willingness to
work around and step over all of our flooring boxes...
one more day and the floor should be completed!
Sewing Machine Giveaway

Thanks to Scott Fortunoff, we have an adorable
Ever Sewn sewing machine, Olfa cutter and mat, Aurifil thread,
and various other quilty items. This package will be given away on December 24 to one lucky person.
How do we know who to give it to????
That's where I need your help. I need you to write down a paragraph or two describing someone who you think needs a little joy in their life that only can be achieved through the love of fabric and thread! Turn in your nomination to the shop by Dec. 23 at noon. I will solicit help from the Priest River
"Sew What??" group to help to choose a winner.
You may also bring in a fat quarter or two or three to
add to our fabric donation basket!
If you happen to know someone at the Beacon or the Miner...
it would be great to have it printed in the newspaper
as well to broaden our nominations!
Plus that would help more people to know where we are!
Stop by the shop to see the gift in person...
maybe it will inspire you to choose a recipient!
